To end our month long activities to combat violence against women and children, in Family Violence Awareness month, CFN invited real life superhero women to our daycare! CFN welcomed the real life heroes from Calgary Police Services as well as the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to the Centre yesterday, all while dressing up like our favourite superheroes. Children chose their own super powers - kindness, friendship, sharing and more and we had lots of fun! The campaign's mission is to empower our young people and inspire them with the knowledge that they can do anything, be anything they want to be in Canadian society.
